Tangueros,
Tangophilia invites you to join a weekend of tango practicing and
dancing with tangueros from all over North Carolina, Virginia, South
Carolina, Georgia and beyond! After taking numerous workshops, this is the
time to get together with everyone else in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic
region to exchange information, to share experience and to enjoy dancing
tango on the social dance floor!
In 2004, Tangophilia hosted 4 Regional Tango Weekends in Durham/Triangle
and 2005 is the year we will take these events to the local communities
that participated strongly in the effort of building a greater tango
community in our region. We will be visiting our tango friends, the beaches
and the mountains all around us while enjoying our tango in the New Year!
As always, the pricing of these events will be at the "not-for-profit"
level to encourage you all to travel more for pleasant tango experiences.
