Dancer, choreographer and teacher of international renown, Pampa Cortés
is known and appreciated for his charismatic elegance, whether on stage
or in his social dancing. Remarkably enough, he is one of the very
few stage-trained dancers who has earned the unanimous admiration
and respect from the hard-core milongueros of Buenos Aires for his
exquisite social dancing. A long-time dancer and choreographer in many
international tango shows, among which Tango Revue and Forever
Tango,Cortés has been directing his own shows throughout California
and France for several years now. His latest one, Fantasia Argentina,
fusing tango and original folk and malambo dances will be
produced again in the South Bay next March. Pampa Cortés has always been
one of the Bay Area's favorite teachers, appreciated for his warmth and
enthusiasm, as well as for his exacting and generous teaching.
