MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC!!!! Well,if our DJ YESIM wrote a piece on ³How I Spent My Holiday² it would go something like this "Every morning I got up to go in search of interesting new tango music. And then every afternoon I'd go in search of interesting tango music, and then every night...." You get the picture. So Yesim went home to Istanbul, with its long history of Argentine tango, and carried back around 50 c.d's produced in Europe (Spain, France etc) new to her already extensive collection--!!! She had to buy an additional back pack to carry the extras! She discovered 2 more cd's at the airport about take-off time. What if she had seen many others? Would she have made it? They were calling her flight and she is still in the CD store--then the race to make it!!! Now she is busy culling them to prepare some wonderful material for this Sunday night. It will take her weeks to get through everything but be assured she will have some thrilling material in store for us with her passion for this music and her dedication to make everyone happy at Esmeralda's. $10 Admission includes a beginner's class with TREY at 5:30! He is so much fun and educational too! Everyone who comes early: GRAB A PARTNER ASAP AND DANCE IN FRONT OF THE BAR, OR WHEREVER YOU FIND A SPACE! Food is great and inexpensive. And they serve you anywhere--bar, café, backroom---eating and drinking totally optional BUT I HAVE YET TO FIND A PERSON NOT DELIGHTED WITH THE FOOD!!! EVERYONE RECOMMENDS SOMETHING ELSE.
