JUEVES THIS WEEK - 1/27/05 BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION This week we will be celebrating Susan Kavaler-Adler's birthday. Susan has been a Jueves regular since we began more than four years ago, and we are delighted to be able to help her celebrate her special day. In honor of the occasion, we will have a couple of special birthday tangos, along with some delicious birthday treats to supplement our usual array of appetizers and refreshments. Admission: $10.00 TANGO & TEA on 2/3/05 During the 1920s, tea dances were all the rage, as was the tango. Well, we know about the tango, but what about the tea? Join us as we learn all about it at a special Tea Tasting at our February 3, 2005 milonga. Sebastian Beckwith is the founder of "In Pursuit of Tea," a company that imports fine teas from Asia that are a delight for the discriminating tea palate. Can't tell the difference between oolong and pu-erh? Then join us as Sebastian explains it all, and then presents samples for tasting. ELLEN'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION on 2/10/05 Ellen will be celebrating her birthday at the February 10th milonga. She has invited Mariana Fresno and Ney Melo to be her special guests.
