Tango Downtown is proud to host Alicia's third visit to New Mexico, March 19-21 at the Harwood Art Center. Alicia Pons receives rave reviews from students here, as well as elsewhere in the U.S. and in Buenos Aires. She is an wonderfully elegant and expressive dancer in the Milonguero-style. Her footwork is exquisite, while firmly grounded in her approach to the dance as an intimate conversation between partners. Sat March 19 Class I: Men¹s class 12:00-1:30pm Class II: Couple¹s class 2:00-3:30pm Sun March 20 Class I: Women¹s class 12:00-1:30pm Class II: Couple¹s class 2:00-3:30pm Mon March 21 Review (or intro) 7:30-9:00pm Sat. Night Milonga location TBA. Sun. Night Milonga at Kelly¹s Brew Pub in Albuquerque, 7:30-10:30pm. Class prices: $20 per class. Couples Special: Make your own partner arrangements (for the couple's classes or review class) & turn in registration forms together: $35 per couple per class. Couple's Special rate is available to visiting dancers, even if we assist in arrangements. All classes are open to all levels. Men may take the women's class & vice versa. You must make partner arrangements in advance to attend the couple's classes. (We're happy to assist on request.) Monday's class open enrollment; no partner arrangements are required, but you may register with a partner & receive the couple's discount. Alicia is also available for private classes, March 18-22.
