9p - 1a+: MILONGA with the great music of Los Chantos, with some of the
best tango musicians in NYC.!
Milonga Only: $15, includes lesson, Buffet of home-cooked specialties &
wine, Door Prizes, Special Surprises!
Milonga with both workshops: $10pp.
Between sets, classic tango recordings, plus a lively mix of new tango
and salsa breaks, with DJ Ilene.

Antonio "Junior" Cervila has an enormous world wide following and for
good reason.
Based in Buenos Aires, he is a highly respected performer, choreographer
and instructor, recognized for his stunning choreography, creative tango
stylings, intricate footwork and tango 'feel'; He is an extremely
versatile dancers, earning a well-deserved reputation as the ‘Gene Kelly
of Latin Dance’.
Junior was featured in the Carlos Saura film "Tango", which won an Oscar
nomination for Best Foreign Film in 1998. In addition to having a
principle role in the film, he was the choreographic assistant to tango
legend Juan Carlos Copes. He also danced in the famous Broadway
production of "Tango Argentino" and as part of Julio Iglesias’s World
Tour. He has performed throughout Europe, Asia and Latin America as well
as the United States.
Junior’s performances have been seen worldwide; most recently he
produced, directed a new version of his show "Latin Dance Carnival", a
musical extravaganza using music and dance to dramatically depict the
evolution of Latin culture from its African roots to the modern streets.
Junior's own company of dancers performed the original show to standing
ovations and has just completed a second tour of Japan..
Junior’s classes primarily focus on proper technique for social dancing.
His workshops are excellent preparation for those interested in learning
how to navigate smoothly on a crowded dance floor as well as for those
who wish to be challenged by demanding figures. He has been praised by
many students for his generosity, the ease of his teaching style and the
lucidity of his communication techniques.
