WORKSHOP UPDATE:

I have received many emails asking about Alicia's style, if I have danced with
her, info on privates, etc. I would like to provide some additional info and
some updates to her St. Louis visit.

I was lucky enough to spend 4 weeks with Alicia in Buenos Aires last May. She
is a wonderful teacher of the milonguero style of social Argentine tango as
danced in the milongas of Buenos Aires. She emphasizes a very musical &
rhythmic style of dance.

She is most noted for her foot play and sensual seduction, which are done with
humor and decorum. She exemplifies presence in the dance, and this is a focus
in her teaching for both men and women.

As a teacher, Alicia emphasizes the partners connection, and in particular the
womans ability to not just follow, but to be an equal protagonist in the
dance! For this reason, I have scheduled two workshop classes just for women
(i.e., follows).

I now have Alicia's flight schedule. She will be available for private lessons
from the Feb 22 through March 2nd. You can get more info and schedule lessons
private directly on her website at

http://home.earthlink.net/~rbarbarash/

In addition, she will be directing the weekly Thursday Practica on Feb 24 at my
place, starting at 8:00 pm; directions are at the Website or you can call me.
This is a great chance to meet her and welcome her to the Midwest. Bring a
bottle of wine or some snacks to share.

Also note, the Friday, February 25, the evening class and milonga are at the
delightful Monday Club.
