In less than 2 weeks (April 1-4) Brigitta Winkler will bring her unique and effective teaching skills and her charming personality to our warm and welcoming University twin cities of Champaign-Urbana, IL. There will be 6 enjoyable and educational workshops in milonguero style tango + 2 milongas where dancers can mingle to make new tango friends. Brigitta's teaching style is able to communicate to all levels of dancers simultaneously, making advanced material accessible to beginners and revealing unexpected nuances of the fundamentals to advanced dancers. Much of this communicative effectiveness is due to her incorporation of body awareness principles in teaching tango material. Her workshops are not about steps, but about partner connection, musicality, and awareness of possibilities for improvisation.
