My family is planning on starting a dance school in Dalian, China. I'm
looking for a tango instructor couple or a male instructor who would be
interested in teaching there and potentially participating in the school.
While long term we may have rotating instructors and trained local
instructors, initially we'll need the expert instructor(s) to reside there
for at least a few months to help start the program.

Although Dalian may not have as much international recognition as Beijing or
Shanghai, it is one of the most beautiful cities in China, and a major
tourist destination. Describes National Geographic Traveler China: "The
port city of Dalian fosters an upbeat spirit forged from the zeitgeist of
reform. This oasis of enviable prosperity, clean trams, buses, lawns, and
streets is loved by its citizens. It has a grand and graceful character
further marked by some fine examples of Russian and Japanese architecture".
Dalian is quite like San Francisco, except much bigger, newer, with a
population of almost 6 million. Visit http://www.dalian.cn/i18n/en/ for an
introduction of the city (don't forget to check out the video). Dalian
citizens are known for their zest for life and beauty. A strong
manifestation of that spirit is the International Fashion Festival held
every September, which includes series of collections by some of the world's
top designers, forums for dress and adornments, cultural seminars and a
garment & fabric expo. It also features a city carnival, when singers,
dancers, musicians head for town and display their talents.

We are looking for great instructors who are interested in spreading their
love for tango to China, and in exploring this rapidly changing country in
ways more meaningful than just being tourists.

Please email me at [email protected] if you'd like to discuss. I'd
appreciate your bios and anything else that shows your experience and
credential.

I would also appreciate suggestions of any other forums with large exposure
to qualified instructors.

Thanks,

Beibei
