        Friday
*Receive welcome packet in the 4-star Regente Palace
Hotel.  Your home for this stylish stay: The
idyllically located neighborhood of Retiro with the
majestic Plaza San Martin at a mere 2 blocks.  Also at
reach is the diverse offering of shops along the
Florida pedestrian street.
*Unwinding/or option to go get light lunch at cafe
Paris on looking out on the Majestic Plaza San Martin.
*5 pm: Steep in the old world atmosphere of the
Confiteria Ideal where BsAs most practiced milongueros
demonstrate their skill.  With a dance companion at
our disposal you too will experience your first tangos
in this unique, enchanting ballroom.
*9 pm: Depart to Esquina Carlos Gardel (may be
replaced with Viejo Almacen or Senor Tango) for a
special Argentine welcome Tango diner show awaits you
presenting some of the most aspiring young dancers
share the stage with some established, recognized
favorites like Carlos Coppello. Here you will be
exposed  to the various styles and contexts,
historical and modern day, of this rich dance.
*(optional) Salon Canning for milonga
        Saturday
*11-12:30 pm: private 75 minute classes
*1:30 pm:This afternoon you will tour the grand
capital of Argentina and perhaps the most cultured
city of Latin America. A 2-hour guided driving tour
introduces you to the major highlights and
neighborhoods and major attractions so that you
develop a lay of the city and know what to look
forward to in the rest of the week. Along the way,
your guide points out the lesser known spots in Buenos
Aires' historic city center as you learn about life
here during the Colonial period and after winning
their independence. Amongst the sites to be seen
(Recoleta and Plaza Francia, cemetary with Evita's
grave and other dignitaries, Caminito in La Boca,
Chacarita Cemetary where Gardel rests, Bosques de
Palermo, Puerto Madero, and more)
*Halfway through the tour we will stop for a late
lunch/merienda (snack) at the historically important
bourgeois Cafi La Biela under the immense and verdant
rubber tree.
*Outting to best tango shoe shops where you can
purchase the most desired tango shoe designs.
*Depart for dinner, Milonga in El Beso
        Sunday
*12:30-4: Depart for San Telmo/Plaza Dorrego to
explore flea market and landmarks (Viejo Almacen,
picturesque Spanish colonial architecture composing
one of BA's oldest residential districts, Feria de San
Telmo, Casa Minima representing one of the worlds
narrowest houses).
*5-6:15pm: private 75 minute classes
*Depart for dinner, Depart for outdoor milonga at the
picturesque gazebo in the Park of Belgrano
        Monday
*12-1:30 pm: semi-private Tango class with Virginia
Gomez focusing on women4s technique
*2:30 pm: Depart for Avenida de Mayo to see the
grandiose Spanish architecture along tree lined
Avenida de Mayo, Cafi Tortoni (lunch and special
private tour of this landmark cafe where Borges and
other literary and artistic ilumniaries would gather),
Casa Rosada/Plaza de Mayo/historic Town Hall, and the
the Metropolitan Cathedral (where San Martin is
buried),
*6 pm: Optional stop at Historical Confiteria Ideal, a
turn of the century ballroom with high
chandelieredceilings supported by marble columns
*Depart for dinner at Tomo 1.  Meet a high-profile
wine critic and Maitre4d for a very special wine
sampling of the typical regional wines gaining
recognition internationally.
*Milonga at Salon Canning/Lo de Celia
        Tuesday
*12:00-1:30 pm: semi-private class with Luis Bianchi &
assistants
*2:30 pm: Depart for leather district Florida /tour of
Abasto (legendary neighborhood of Carlos Gardel) and
Esquina de Homero Manzi (famous tango lyricist) OR
salon trip for manicures/pedicures/hair
*5 pm: Milonga en El Arranque, one of the most
popularly frequented matinee milongas presided by one
of the most loved DJ4s Mario. Rest assured that you
will be shown off by one of the talented dance
partners that will be joining us there.  Once warmed
up by these dancers your chances of being invited by
alocal dancer is much greater.
*6 pm: Rosedal Garden or practica in Confiterma
Ideal/El Arranque
*Depart for dinner, Milonga at Porteno y Bailerin
        Wednesday
*11 am -6 pm: Depart for El Tigre via El Tren de La
Costa. Stop in San Isidro for cafe in the historic
main plaza. In the charming delta town of Tigre,
situated amongst the picturesque natural canals of the
delta, experience what usedto be the summer getaway
for the porteno elite,including sarmiento. A supreme
sense of serenity overtakes you as you take in the
surrounding landscape from the river boat. We will
enjoy a late lunch on the quaint island of Bora Bora
at a family-owned grill with a shoreside tables.
*7-8:30 pm: semi-private Tango class with Virginia
Gomez focusing on women4s technique
*Free time  or option for dinner at Plaza Espanol with
fun practical Spanish class
*Depart for milonga at La Nacional/Dandi
        Thursday
*12-1:30 pm:semi-private class with Luis Bianchi &
assistants
*2:30 Depart for driving tour of La Boca (Rio Chuelo,
conventillos, bombonera soccer club). Lunch at
Obreros*. Stop by at Puerto Madero on Rio de Plata to
enjoy Clericot, an argentine-style sangria!
*6 pm: salon outting OR outting to Confiteria
Ideal/Club Espanol
*Depart for dinner, Milonga at Nino Bien.
        Friday
*12-1:30 pm: semi-private class with Virginia Gomez
for womens technique
*2 pm: Shopping day along Santa Fe (o Belgrano) in
Barrio Norte starting from Plaza San Martin..
*Cafi stop at Muchu* on Plaza Vincente Lopez for
desserts and cafecito. OR Parks of Palermo
*8 pm: Typical "asado criollo" (barbecue)
*Milonga at Salon Canning, followed by after-hours
milonga at La Viruta. Continue on to cafe* around
corner for cafi con leche and medialunas (warm sweet
croissant-like pastries).
        Saturday
*12-1:30 pm: semi-private Tango class with Virginia
Gomez and Cristian Marquez
*2/2:30 pm: Depart from Colon Opera House for walking
tour of Corrientes (legendary cafe where Borges,
Cortazar, other renowned intellectuals/thinkers
convened), theatre district, and bookstores. Stopoff
at Zivals music store.
*Depart for dinner, Milonga at El Beso/Calesita
        Sunday
*12-1:30 pm: semi-private Tango class with Luis
Bianchi
*Goodbyes and departures.
