"Life is too short to dance with men who don't know how to dance."
I think this is in extremely poor taste. This is a attempted marketing hook for women signing up for a class series advertised with, "Have you ever wondered exactly how to do a boleo?"...which means they are just learning how to dance themselves... What kind of a teaching begins with rhetoric that undermines the convivial spirit of the dance? Russell

Date: Mon, 2 May 2005 14:04:36 -0700 Life is too short to dance with men who don4t know how to dance. Treat yourself to 10 days of dancing with great tango dancers and experiencing tango right from its original source in a tour that caters to women, as much in the classes as in the activities. New Dates: Jun 24th - Jul 4th, 2005 Sep 2nd - Sep 11th, 2005 Oct 7th - Oct 16th, 2005 Ever wondered... exactly how to do a boleo? how to understand the lead and what to control or relax in your body to follow with greater ease? when and how you should adorn? which embrace to use? how to employ your feet for greater balance and elegance? The classes in this tour will focus on these issues and more so that you can dance with more EASE and ENJOYMENT! Beyond that there are all the social and historical aspects of tango that we will explore over the course of this tour. Past women have remarked that they learned more in these 10 days about tango than in their last few years of dancing tango. *The best time to come to Buenos Aires for dancing is now, during the slow tourist season. Floors are danceable, tables are available, and classes are not packed wall to wall. *This 10-day tour includes 9 nights of lodging in a 4 star hotel (www.regente.com.ar), a dinner tango show in Esquina Carlos Gardel Tango, 7 semi-private dance classes, 2 entirely private lessons, top professors (Virginia Gomez, Christian Marquez, Luis Bianchi, and more), daily dining in in some of BsAs finest and funkiest restaurants, daily dance outtings to the milongas with arranged dance partners, a day-trip and boat ride in Tigre, daily guided sight seeing/shopping excursions, and all land transportation. ***Specials for this tour: A private chat with traditional BsAs milonguero and wine tasting of local nacional wines. This is a "non-tour" tour helps take you "off the beaten track" to see the a Buenos Aires that many tourists never see. Also, we aspire to have a tour that4s extremely flexible, so that you see and do in BsAs what you wish. All this for $1380 (double occupancy) thanks to a great exchange rate! This is a price that you cannot beat doing it on your own.
