Dear Ladies and Gentlemen of Tango, Welcome to our Annual Memorial Day Festival! We will begin the festivities with the Tango Colorado practica at the Denver Turnverein on Tuesday, May 24th and they will continue for the entire week until May 30th, and then another weekend after that staring on June 2nd, 2005! I hope that every one of you will have a marvelous time and will meet many new friends and dance partners!
Julio and Corina will not be at the practica on Tuesday as I had hoped because they were unable to get the flight out the BsAs on that day, and so they will be arriving very early Wednesday morning. I have just sent out an e-mail to everyone who has registered for Julio and Corina's master classes. If you have not received that e-mail from me, that means that you did not write your e-mail address on the registration form. If you let me know that you did not receive it, I will forward it to you. That e-mail contains very important details about the classes and private lessons. Julio and Corina will be bringing with them their newly released DVD called "Tango Secrets and Basis". This is not a beginner DVD. Instead, it is a complete foundation of Julio and Corina's technique that they teach dancers in their group and private classes. Because J & C are bringing these DVDs with them, we will have a very limited supply. They are $70 each. If you would like a copy, please let me know and I will reserve it for you. And please join us on Friday, May 27th at the Mercury Cafe milonga, where Julio and Corina will dance a show and Extasis will be playing as an octet! Please feel free to bring your friends so that they can see this incredible show and forever remember what true, authentic Argentine tango looks like.
