Hey, all, Just a reminder to get registered for the best little weekend of tango you'll ever have. It's in a little bitsy town with a little bitsy price. But that's all that's little. The dancers will be first class, the instructors are big favorites across the nation, the music will be the best, and the venue is more than you could expect. It's my home so it's one big house party.
Last year 120 participants took a chance on my first Tango festival, and it worked! They came from the four corners of the United States and even from Europe and Canada. I got rave reviews and all wished to come again. We hope to have the same quality and same quantity of tango fun this year, expect even more. Registration is already giving a good show with people from New Orleans, Atlanta, Houston, Austin, Memphis, St Louis, Kansas City, Fayetteville, Tulsa, San Francisco, Carmel, IL,... A note that the cost goes up after July 5, so get your fee in the mail. $125 to Karen Whitesell, 202 SO Hickory, Mt Vernon MO 65712. $75 for enrolled students. Add $20 after July 5. I have installed four new wrought iron plant hangers for the four brick pillars on the front of the building, looks like an English pub, flowers everywhere. Don't let me get carried away dancing and fail to water the flowers. Next weekend is a city wide garage sale with booths all over the town square. I will have one too, here in the glass shop, selling off glass inventory to make room for eatin' and visitin'. Also selling left over architectural antiques and all the junk in the storeroom.
