We have another Tango From The Heart Close-Embrace Lead-Follow Intensive that we are giving at the end of June. The goal of the Intensive is to help you learn how to dance close-embrace tango, freely, creatively and spontaneously. Men, feel confident that you can give every woman a satisfying tango experience. Women, feel comfortable that you can hold your own with any man and create a wonderful experience for the both of you. What exactly do we teach you? For one thing, we don't just teach you steps. Instead, we break down each step into their components. Since the classes are limited to only twelve students and we spend two full days with you there is plenty of time to dig deep into your most pressing issues and your personal goals and apirations for tango dancing. We teach men how to use their mind and body to convey a subtle body lead to the woman. Using his torso, his legs and his weight changes, he learns how to let the woman know immediately, exactly what he wants her to do. The lead is clear. The woman doesn't have to guess, for his clear lead gives her no other option but to follow him. This is a great relief to women who are free then to express themselves through the music! We teach women how to use their minds to focus in each moment and be "connected" to the man so she can "hear" the lead from the man when it comes. We teach her how to hold her body, her posture, and her foot placements so her body will pick up the message that the man is sending, and transmit it instanteously to her body, expressing it through the dance. There is no time for her to think. The brain is too slow. She learns the fine art of staying in the moment and moving moment by moment with the man. This frees the man to be more expressive and spontaneous in his dancing. We teach the men how to subtly "teach" each woman he dances with, to "read" the mesages he is sending with his body.
