Folks,

The registration for the Boston Tango Festival is heating up now. We continue
to get
numerous registrations daily. At this rate we might match or even surpass our
participation last year.
We want to thank the numerous people from around the country
who have already registered, and remind the rest of you to pre-register through
this Friday, 10 June,
to take advantage of the discounted pre-registration price. To register, go to
www.bostontangofestival.com, or call 617-413-2981 or 617-721-4872. You may
also send a check and list of your preferred packages to:
Tango Society of Boston, PO Box 390055, Cambridge, MA 02139-0055.

Don't forget that if you are one of the first 50 people to purchase a 5-day
SUPERPASS, you will get a free Boston Tango Festival T-Shirt. Don't sit on the
sidelines, come to America's oldest and most beautiful city on the northeast
and celebrate Tango with us next week from Wednesday through Sunday (15-19
June). If you are not convinced yet, below are additional reasons why you
should consider coming to Boston:

1. Learn with Broadway Calibre Stars: Miriam Larici & Hugo Patyn of Forever
Tango, Daniela Arcuri & Armando Orzuza from Evita, Assassination Tango &
Backstage Tango, Hector Falcon of Tango Buenos Aires, Milonga Master Omar Vega
and Virginia Kelly.

2. 5 Nightly Milongas--4 on land, 1 on Atlantic Ocean: All Land milongas are
held at the Zero Arrow Theatre of Harvard University's Tony Award Winning
A.R.T. (American Repertory Theatre). The milonga at sea will occur on the
night close to full moon so we will be calling this the Moonlight Milonga
(Friday).

3. Sample the renown local experts, some of whom have established reputations
beyond Boston: Tova and Carlos Moreno, formerly of Baltimore, now residents of
Boston, Fernanda Cajide of Argentina, Hillary Ross, Analinda Marcus, Simonida
Cekovic-Vuletic, Ron Gursky & Nancy Murphy, and Shahrukh Merchant. The
Kaleidoscope of talent and beauty will showcase to the world that Argentine
Tango is indeed here in Boston
to stay.

4. Live Music and Internationally Renown DJs: What about musicians, you ask?
Our prestigeous list of guest
musicians includes Hector del Curto on the Bandoneon, Pablo Aslan on
the Contrabass, Octavio Brunetti on the Piano, and of course, to help
us kick things off at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts on 11 June,
the divine voice of Katie Viqueira.

This year, we are also proud to add nationally and internationally
renown Guest Professional DJs whose tandas have inspired dancers from
coast to coast and across international borders. Many have mixed
tandas beyond their hometown milongas and at well-attended festivals.
These include Robin Thomas, Keith Elshaw, Shahrukh Merchant & Tine
Herreman. You won't miss a beat with music by these prominent DJs.

We continue to accept sponsors and vendors. For additional
information, please check our website (www.bostontangofestival.com)
or call Vicky at 617-721-4872, Clifton at 617-413-2981, or send us an
