His creative dance style is relaxed, expressive and very musical,and everything he dances is effortless and improvisational. In 2004, Nick and his partner, Tara Fortier, studied intensively in Buenos Aires for three months with leading maestros including El Pulpo Esbrez, Luiza Paes, Chicho Frumboli, Mingo Pugliese, Julio Balmaceda & Corina de la Rosa, and Ernesto Balmaceda & Stella Baez.
