We have some GOOD NEWS and some bad news to report concerning this summer's
Seattle Tango Magic, August 11-15th, 2005.

GOOD NEWS :^)
Seattle's Patricio & Eva have been hired to dance with the show Forever
Tango!!!

bad news :^(
Because Patricio & Eva will be traveling with the show, they won't be
available to teach and perform at Seattle TangoMagic, Aug 11-15, 2005.

REALLY GOOD NEWS :^ <news:%5e> )
Danny Garcia (a.k.a. "El Flaco") & Silvina Valz have replaced Patricio and
Eva and will be teaching and performing at TangoMagic. If you've been to
the milongas in Buenos Aires, you've probably seen "Flaco Danny", as he is
called. He is the "Maestro of Milonga". When a milonga is performed in the
Milongas of Buenos Aires, this is the guy who does it. Silvina now resides
in Paris where she teaches tango, milonga and South American folkloric
dances. Danny and Silvina recently taught and performed at the Miami Tango
Fantasy festival. This is their first trip to the US, so having them at
TangoMagic provides us with a special opportunity to observe and learn from
a Milonguero master.

Unfortunately.
In order to incorporate Flaco & Silvina into our teaching schedule, we have
had to make a few adjustments to the schedule. Hopefully this will cause a
minimum of confusion. Please go to
http://www.claysdancestudio.com/TangoMagic05/TangoMagic05.htm to view the
revised schedule.

And...MORE GOOD NEWS!!!
As you probably know, there will be a traditional Northwest Salmon Bake and
Outdoor Milonga on the shores of beautiful Lake Washington Sunday Aug 14,
2005, 5:00-10:00 PM. To help you get there and avoid any parking problems,
we've hired a school bus for FREE transportation. The bus leaves the
Mountaineer's Building (where the classes are), drops by China Harbor (where
the Post-Salmon-Bake-Milonga is) and then goes to the Marina Park Pavilion
in Kirkland (where the Salmon Bake is). A schedule for the busses along with
other information about getting to and from the Salmon Bake will be
available at the event.

We hope these changes and additions will make TangoMagic an even better
event. We look forward to your continued support.
