Greetings From The Tango House, Come to the Denver Labor Day Festival early and stay late. You can tango every night 8/30 - 9/5, beginning with the weekly Tango Colorado practica on Tuesday, 8/30 and ending with the Monday night Milonga at The Tango House on 9/5. There will also be special classes offered at TTH.
In the 2 festival that The Tango House has participated, our milongas have become a must-go for many tango travelers. The friendly energy and atmosphere of this historic landmark must be experienced. Javier Rochwarger wrote of The Tango House, "Con el espiritu del viejo Parakultural". Julio Balmaceda called it, "One of the best milongas around the world". The environment, the music, the sound, the floor and the appetizers are all world class. TTH milongas are early and late in the festival so conditions are less crowded. Many people told me that the TTH milonga was their favorite during the Memorial Day festival earlier this year. Below is a list of TTH and other events that may not appear on the Labor Day Festival schedule. Please keep in mind that none of the items listed are included in any of the various festival packages. Pay entrance fees at the door and plan ahead for transportation. Network with other dancers to share cabs or rental cars and contact friends in Denver for rides.
