Tangophilia's effort to build up a regional tango community will be
continued with the 3rd Regional Tango Weekend in 2005 that will be held in
one of the participating tango community's home town: Asheville, NC!
After 8 years spent towards growing a community in the Triangle
(Durham-Raleigh-Chapel Hill) area of NC, Tangophilia founders Jason
Laughlin and Gulden Ozen have started the effort to build a regional tango
community in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic region in 2004.
In 2005, we are co-hosting the practica and milonga intense "regional tango
weekends" with some of the local communities in our region: Wilmington,
Asheville and VA Beach along with Durham!
This weekend, we'll all be in Asheville. Come join us for a weekend of
Practicas and Milongas in the beautiful mountains and historic treasures of
Asheville, NC!
We are gearing up for what promises to be a weekend of fun. Dancers and
instructors from many cities/states in our region will be attending.
