ARMANDO ORZUZA
Santa Fe, NM
August 20 & 21, 2005

Armando was born in "La Boca", a suburb of Buenos Aires, known as the birth
place of the Tango.  His first professional contact with the Tango was at
the age of fourteen, as a sound technician for a "tangueria" (Tango dance
hall) in Buenos Aires. This enriching experience surrounded him with the
foremost dancers, singers and orchestras of the Tango world. Ten years later
he began to study the Tango himself. Armando learned to dance from the
original "milongueros" and began his professional career in 1990, after
meeting Daniela.

Daniela and Armando have had numerous guest appearances as dancers for Julio
Iglesias¹ promotion of his new album ³Tango² in Alan Parker¹s movie ³Evita²,
where they were dance consultants and assisted with the film¹s choreography
Throughout Europe, South America and the United States, they have performed
and taught the tango at festivals, events, organizations, embassies,
consulates,
schools and theaters. They have appeared in the theatre production of Tango
Pasion and Armando has appeared in the theatre production of Avantango.

Daniela and Armando are multi talented and diversified in their expression
of the tango.  Through their choreography, they uniquely express the many
facets of the tango world in every performance.  They have successfully
amalgamated the originality of the ³Golden Era² with the powerful styles of
the ³modern² tango of today.
