(2) 9th Annual Portland TangoFest, Oct 12-18. Typically with 600-700 guests
it's the most popular tango event in North America-total tango emersion for
5 day: 56 classes, 23 teachers, 6 evening classic milongas, 6 alternative
milongas, 2 all-night milongas, 4 supervised practicas, 12 DJs, a women's
lead practice session, one great tango orchestra, 11 of Portland's most
unique ballrooms & studios, and (new this year) a tango jam session!  And,
it's cheap--just $235 gets you into ALL of the workshops.  Milongas are pay
