Alex Krebs in St. Louis September 9-11, 2005

"Alex Krebs is one of the most influential young tango dancers, and musicians,
in the US. He has done his homework, traveling to Buenos Aires and working with
most of the important living teachers and dancers of his time. He has immersed
himself in the music, learning the bandoneon, and teaching his dance students
how important musical interpretation is. He has visited many of the tango's
diverse communities and danced a wide variety of styles. And in his home town
of Portland Oregon, he is an integral member of the community, the owner of his
own studio, and the leader of the local tango band. To this long resume add his
relaxed attitude, good humor, and articulate teaching, and you get a master
tango teacher that should not be missed when he comes to visit."
