ABOUT YOUR HOSTS AND INSTRUCTORS:

Teo Bartek, MBA a skilled Argentine tango dancer, teacher and performer is
the co-founder of a style of teaching tango called Tango From The Heart.
He is a skilled teacher, who teaches from his heart.  He spent many years in
the pursuit of the essence of tango, the dance of love, studying with gifted
Argentine tango masters.  His passion is for close-embrace tango, where the
non-verbal intuitive communication is heightened as all the chakras open,
and a state of oneness is attained with a partner and with ones own spirit.

He practices tango daily as a spiritual, devotional discipline, with his
partner and wife, Marsha, as the subject of his loving devotion.  This
practice maintains and amplifies the powerful heart connection they share.
Around them the atmosphere becomes charged with their love for the dance and
for each other.

He is the Founder, Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of  Tango From The Heart,
the Monthly Online Publication about tango, relationships and love.  He
gives his time generously traveling with Marsha to teach and perform at
festivals, private parties, weddings, charity events and cultural events.
He has an extensive schedule of teaching, which includes weekly classes and
private lessons, monthlyintensive and special events.  He has written
numerous articles about tango and has been featured in newspaper articles
about tango.

Marsha Bartek,  a skilled Argentine tango dancer, teacher and performer is
the co-founder of a style of teaching tango called Tango From The Heart.
She practices tango daily to maintain and amplify the powerful heart
connection she shares with her partner and husband Teo. Around them the
atmosphere becomes charged with their love for the dance and for each other.

Marsha always had a great love of dance.  She has studied every kind of
dance ballet, tap, jazz, modern, Afro-Cuban and gymnastics.With her husband
and partner Teo, she became fascinated with Argentine tango, which became
her passion.  She immersed herself in tango, taking lessons from the top
Argentine tango dancers in the world.  I quickly became evident that she was
a natural at this special form of intimate partner dance, and her unique
styling and grace is admired by and imitated by many who see her dance.

As a teacher she is patient, loving and gentle, but can e challenging with
students in a loving way, bringing out the best in them.  She radiates the
essence of tango and everyone who takes classes with her can tune-in to it
and be nurtured by it. She is the Editor of  Tango From The Heart, the
Monthly Online Publication about tango, relationships and love.  She gives
her time generously traveling with Teo to teach and perform at festivals,
private parties, weddings, charity events and cultural events.  She has an

Jaime Alvarez V., Ed.D.  has studied dancing with world class masters in
several countries, throughout his life he has participated in numerous dance
congresses and Argentinean Tango dance training workshops with
internationally acclaimed masters of dancing. He has been organizing and
promoting Contemporary Dances in the New England area since 1995. He has
received numerous prizes, trophies and honorary mentions. Jaime has taught
extra-mural dance courses in colleges in Massachusetts, Vermont and
Connecticut. Jaime has performed in of Argentinean Tango dance shows and
competitions in venues in Colombia, Florida, Massachusetts and Connecticut
and other venues.

Jaime and his wife Alexandra Leyton coordinate a Dance Program that promotes
intercultural communication sponsored by OPED a non-profit organization
seeking to promote exchange between people of different cultures by creating
environments for common _expression among individuals and groups of diverse
backgrounds.OPED has produced in the last 25 years multicultural exchange
programs using the mediums of music food and dance.

Jaime & Alexandra Alvarez use the fundamentals for couple dancing and the
fundamentals for interpersonal communications to explore the mechanics of
leading & following in dancing and on exploring the dynamics of the
relationship between rotating and switching dyads. In an educational,
supportive environment they and their associates teach skills for optimum
non-verbal communications to explore inter-personal dynamics of a given
situation, for individuals as well as for couples, to sharpen problem
solving skills in a fun atmosphere in a beautiful setting.
