Sometimes it is time to party and sometimes it is time to help. Saturday September 10th you can do both at once at the ALL NIGHT MILONGA BENEFIT FOR VICTIMS OF KATRINA
a portion of your $15 admission will be donated to two worthy relief organizations: Baton Rouge Area Foundation www.braf.org assisting displaced residents and the Noah's Wish Foundation www.noahswish.org providing rescue & shelter to the thousands of animals left behind. Additional donations, of which 100% goes to the relief organizations, are most welcome. LEXA ROSEAN will be giving tarot & astrology readings from $5-$15. All of the proceeds will go to the relief organizations. There is not a guest list for this event. Everyone must make a donation. The tango community has a long distinguished history of rising to the occassion to help out when called. We are a community and together we can have a positive impact. I am sure many of you have already made a contribution, but together we can do even more. so here are the usual details: class at 9pm with guest teacher Carina Losano (and its her birthday!) DJ Maria Jose. Dancing from 10pm to 5am ample healthy snacks served. BYOB is ok with us. dress is casual tangueros of all levels and styles are welcome.
