Francisville, half an hour from Baton Rouge. Stay the night in a
charming B&B in St. Francisville.
**Because of recent Katrina, the first night may be Baton Rouge, LA. TBA
Dec. 29: Transportation to Natchez, Mississippi, (3 hours) stopping at
Nottingham, the largest plantation home in the South, for an elegant
lunch and milonga in the ballroom.
In Natchez, make yourself at home at Dunleith Plantation, circa 1856,
or the comforts of Wensel House, or Pleasant Hill. All are beautiful
top notch B&B’s in historic homes.
Dance classes and milongas in legendary taverns, and ballrooms, with a
special New Year’s Eve dinner in the private dining room at Dunleith!
New Year’s Day breakfast at The Castle. Special presentation on “The
Parallel Histories of Jazz and Tango” with slides, music, lecture,
