Dear Members and Friends of Tango Colorado,

All aboard the "SS Tango Splendor!" The 10th Annual Tango Colorado Holiday
Milonga is scheduled to sail on Saturday, December 3, 2005, starting at 8:30
P.M. The beautiful Turnverein Ballroom in Denver will be transformed into a
luxury cruise liner, complete with a huge dinner buffet, followed by a
chocolate extravaganza at midnight. And to absolutely guarantee a fabulous
night,
Tango Colorado will present two of the most incredible performances ever
staged in Denver in one night. We are pleased to offer you, not one but two of
the most famous Argentine Tango couples in the world: Carolina Zokalski and
Diego Di Falco and Corina de la Rosa and Julio Balmaceda. Estasis's wonderful
eight-member orchestra will also perform.

First time in Denver, Carolina and Diego have achieved a place of prominence
as one of the most critically acclaimed couples in the world of tango. With
more than 18 years of professional experience, this couple transforms
feelings into movements with a unique and authentic style, elevating tango to
an art
form of infinite expression. Cast members of the original Broadway
production of "Forever Tango," they secured a nomination for a Tony Award for
Best
Choreography. Public Broadcasting's production of "Tango Magic" showcased
Carolina and Diego as featured dancers and principle choreographers. They
promise
a beautiful and technically demanding performance.

Julio and Corina are among the most charismatic tango dancers in the world.
During their many appearances in Denver, they never fail to dazzle us with
their elegant, dynamic and thrilling performances. Since 1996 they have been
performing together all over the world in leading festivals, numerous film
and stage productions, including "Forever Tango." Julio and Corina will be
teaching classes beginning Thursday, November 30, continuing through Sunday,
December 4. For more information contact their Denver promoter, Nina
Pesochinsky: [email protected]

The very low cost for all of this splendor will be: for members, $25 in
advance; $30 at the door and for nonmembers, $30 in advance: $35 at the door.
This is first time we have ever sold advance tickets. They are available at
the Denver Turnverein starting this Tuesday night in Denver and at the Pearl
Street Studio in Boulder on Thursday night. Advanced ticket sales will
continue at the practicas until Tuesday, November 29. People outside the
Denver/Boulder area can reserve advance ticket prices by mailing a check to me
(Pat
Patton, 10048 A Grove Loop, Westminster, CO 80031; checks payable to Tango
Colorado). Or, you can email me ([email protected]) to reserve an advance
ticket
price up until 11/29. (This is just for people outside the Denver region.)
I will send back a confirmation letter to present at the door. You MUST be a
member in good standing to purchase the member price; all tickets will be
checked at the door to ascertain membership.

It's hard to imagine but TC member and assistant vice president Rick Moss
promises todecorate the Turnverein even more beautifully than the stunning
presentation created last year by him and his incredible volunteers.
Volunteer
Halina Morgucz and her team have developed a menu to swoon over and to be
served in a highly professional and lovely way, repeating and enhancing her
culinary and food presentation talents two years ago.

The recommended dress for the occasion is cruise wear/Black Tie/White Dinner
Jackets. It's a time to get fancy, ladies and gentlemen.

See you on board!

Warmest regards,

Pat Patton, President, Tango Colorado
