Dec. 29: 10-11:30AM: Tango class You may choose to visit one or more of the many ante-bellum homes that have daily tours. Go on a carriage ride, roam the antique stores, or stay in your own beautiful room and rest! 3PM-4:30PM class, 4:30-6PM class, 8-9PM class; 9:30-midnight milonga. Dec. 30: 10-11AM class, 11:15-12:30 class Hot Chocolate and Tango: a surprise happening: 2:30-3:30PM 4:00-5:00PM class, 6PM: Special presentation on ³The Parallel Histories of Jazz and Tango² with slides, music, lecture, dance. 8:00PM, class. Milonga 9-midnight. Dec. 31: Early class: 9:30-10:30 AM 11:00AM a trip to the Natchez Trace, the 444 mile original trade route from 1785 to 1820 for settlers and Choctaw, Chickasaw and other American Indians They sold their cargo and boats on the river ports and began the trek back north on foot to Nashville and points beyond. (www.scenictrace.com) We will just go in a few miles to Emerald Mound, an ancient ceremonial place. Place your prayers and wishes in a ceremony at the Mound, to bring you a fulfilling new year.
