For all the cultured individuals interested in tango art who will be in Buenos Aires during the next few months :
I have been honored to present a photograph exhibition at the famous Salon Canning milonga. Salon Canning is considered one of the most popular milongas in Buenos Aires and also is famous because most of the great teachers of social tango dance have taught and performed there. Salon Canning is also very well known for making art exhibitions, (painting and photographs) through its manager Omar Viola, who is an art lover and he is responsible for looking for original art work related with tango. I would like to invite every one in Buenos Aires to enjoy this exhibition, from my last production, called Tango in Paris 1920, which recreates how the tango looked in that time. Anton Gazenbeek and Natalie Laruccia were the models. The costume, poses and make up were designed by Anton Gazenbeek, who is a very well known researcher, dancer and choreographer. He created it for his show Anthropology of Tango which is being presented around the world. The photographs were taken last October at the beautiful water palace (Palacio de Obras Sanitarias de la Nacion) which is one of the most important architectural pieces of Buenos Aires, built in Europe and brought to this city piece by piece. The photograph exhibition will be held from December 2005 until the first two weeks of January 2006.
