Spacious apartment for rent in Buenos Aires during March and April, 2006. Located in Barrio Boedo, on Boedo and Independencia. Former Chicago tanguera will be touring in Europe and possibly the U.S. for 2 months.
The warm, sunny, and clean 2 bedroom apartment is on the 9th floor of a high rise. It has ceiling to floor sliding glass windows which provide exposure to the sun all day with shutters to darken it. The living room is a decent sized practice space, with hard wood floors and a large ceiling to floor mirror where you can practice your tango 24 hours a day! There is a big eat in kitchen, and a balcony running the length of the apartment with spectacular views overlooking the city. Its quiet being on the 9th floor. One bedroom has a double sized bed and the other bedroom has a twin bed and also a mini office with DSL connection for your laptop. The apartment is very centrally located: it is close to all milongas, with the subway 3 blocks away and many buses at your door. The neighborhood is safe; within 1 block of the apt, you will find several banks, Coto (a major supermarket), tons of buses, great Italian restaurants, the laundry mat and dry cleaners, health food stores and a movie rental store just downstairs. It is a very comfortable and economical place for 1-3 people. The rental would be U$550/month or U$25/day for shorter time frames. It includes all expenses: water, gas, electricity, broadband connection, a maid twice a month. The only expense it doesn't include is for telephone, but you can buy very inexpensive (U$3) phonecards to make both local/international calls or lease a cell phone for not too much. Access in Karas absence will be arranged through the building security desk. It's really spacious and comfortable and sunny! Please contact [email protected] for further inquiries. Another apartment for available for rent by the week or day is in the Palermo Hollywood area. It is owned by a person living in London, but access can be arranged through the building management. It is a one bedroom unit in a new building apartment. Contact Anthony McCallion at [email protected] or (917) 541 8980 for further information.
