*Metin Yazir * is one of the finest dancers and teachers of the younger
generation of tango who has inspired many tango lovers all over the world.
He is among the top dancers and teachers of tango, who has taught on all
continents and was also invited to perform at the White House. He has
studied the craft of teaching and how students learn. He uses imagery and
metaphor sometimes humorous, sometimes sexual, to get his point across. His
original teaching method along with his easy joking manner as well as his
ability to analyze and dissect even the most complicated of figures and
concepts and to present them clearly to his students (often with humorous
analogies and entertaining exercises), make him a truly gifted teacher. He
has inspired many of us to get better to the point that over 40 of his
students are teachers in their own communities. He is the owner of
International BailaTango Argentine Tango Schools and recently moved back to
NY.
