Just wanted to confirm to you that Meet in the Middle Aug 4-6 will not be affected by the announced changing of teaching partners between Robin, Jennifer, and Ney. Ney came last year as my guest, and this year he will have to work for his weekend, that's all.
Robin will teach by himself, which he will do nicely, I'm sure. Maybe picking women from the class... This worked so well with Srini just last weekend...what a leader, when Srini took complete strangers to demonstrate, it was wonderful, not to mention the wonderful feeling the students got in return. Srini is the best Social tango teacher I have had in a long time. One student remarked, Srini doesn't have any feet! She was so impressed he could lead so effortlessly and never feel his steps. Among his other social teachers, Srini gives credit to Joan Bishop in Houston... Now, Robin happens to be in Houston Feb 24-25 for a workshop, I can do some classes, and get the latest scoop on his potential partners...although Joan isn't sponsoring the workshop, I bet I can seek her out to meet her and shake her hand. Also there just happens to be a huge sale at the Houston Glass Craft Supply, starting the Monday after. I can load up the Magnum with more stuff. More stained glass stuff, to create those tango images lingering long after I leave Houston. Karen
