We have received many e-mails from folks around the globe asking about the status of the Boston Tango Festival 2006. We would like to give a brief update here and invite you to continue sending e-mails to us with questions. First of all, the dates of the Boston Tango Festival 2006 will be June 14-18 (Wednesday through Sunday). This will be the 3rd week of June. We expect a bigger crowd this year than the previous one. We are also expecting some programming changes as well. So far, in terms of the Argentine Masters who have confirmed, they are Miriam Larici & Hugo Patyn, Fernanda Ghi & Guillermo Merlo, Hector Falcon and Natalia Lavandeira, with more to come. We will also be announcing more details soon and will update the www.bostontangofestival.com website. In the meantime, please continue to visit the Boston Tango Calendar at www.bostontango.org as we will be hosting the Milonga maestro Omar Vega for 6 weeks and in April for our 3rd Weekend (April 15-16) we will have from Argentina, Noelia Soldera & Orlando Farias of Tango Metropolis.
