I recently moved to Chicago from Minneapolis and opened a dance studio in order to focus on Argentine Tango more efficiently. Therefore, the location of TangoJoven Festival which was supposed to be held in Minneapolis between June30-July4 needed new home. TangoJoven 2006 will be held in Chicago June30-July4.
- The teaching faculty and DJs mostly remain same with few minor changes. Instructors:(Andres & Meredith-BsAs, Homer & Andrea-SF, Somer & Agape-Chicago, Korey & Mila- KC-Moscow, Burak & Rui-Chicago-BsAs) (All Female Team) DJs: (Hyla-Seattle, Jackie-Boston, Megan-Portland, Yulia-DC, Tine-NH, Nina-Chicago, Kat-Seattle, Ellen-Chicago) - "DJing Techniques" workshops and "Tango Pedagogy- Techniques for better teaching" workshops need to be re-scheluded. - We are working on "Milonga Playa" Beach Milonga good location on Lake Michigan - Milonga at Mall of America won't happen- due to location change.
