Milonguero Style!!!
Host: Tony Fan & Ilana Rubin

About Susana Miller & Maria Plazaola:

Susana is the most prominent teacher in the world today of the "milonguero"
style of close embrace tango danced in the crowded clubs of downtown Buenos
Aires. This is a social style of tango that emphasizes musicality and the
connection between partners. Susana has probably put more people on the dance
floors of Buenos Aires' milongas than any other single teacher. In a 1999
article in the Buenos Aires daily paper Clarin, she was named one of the four
most important contemporary influences in tango.

Maria is one of the best young female dancers on the world circuit. She is the
last partner of the internationally renowned tango master Carlos Gavito. Her
movements are calm, pure and soft, and her dancing is graceful and ethereal. In
the workshops, she pays special attention to female dancers, helping them to
enrich the intimacy of tango embrace. Since the year 2000 she has worked
jointly with Susana Miller with whom she has a prestigious academy in Buenos
Aires. Maria mostly tour in Europe. This will be her first time touring the US.

Susana and Maria are simply magical!
Short of going to Buenos Aires, you won't find a better opportunity to learn
the essence of tango!
Please don't miss this opportunity to meet a great tango master of our time and
learn the cutting edge material of the popular salons in Buenos Aires.
