Argentine Tango Workshop
with Bulent Karabagli & Marika Landry May 6-7, 2006
Bülent Karabagli and Marika Landry are one of the finest new generation
of Tango dancers and teachers. They are well known for their creative,
improvisational style as well as their musicality and elegance. They
have been focusing for several years on investigating the structural
foundations of tango. Rejecting rigid sequences, their teaching aims to
build students’ improvisational and musical skills, so that students
make real progress and express themselves more freely.

Session #3 2:30pm – 3:45pm: Special Women’s technique class with
Marika ( Men can volunteer to assist participants at no cost)

Session #1 11:30am – 12:45pm : Overturned Ochos and Sacadas
Session #2 1:00pm - 2.15pm: Musical Expression
Sunday 6:30pm-10:30pm TangoLoft Milonga with Bulent as guest DJ
Milonga cost $10 / $5 for workshop participants
WORKSHOP COST $65 for all 4 workshops ($80 including women’s
technique). $20 individual workshops.
