I am excited to announce that I will be hosting workshops with Komala Vos & Stefan Wimmer this coming weekend in Seattle, WA at the Century Ballroom!
----- ABOUT KOMALA & STEFAN ----- Komala is a hugely respected tango teacher in Europe and is a main hostess and teacher at the famous tango centre, El Corte, in Nijmegen. She has a profound knowledge of the body and tango dynamics. Stefan became fascinated with tango about 8 years ago, and is now her teaching (and life) partner. For them, Tango is passion. Their motto: it's not the figures that make the dance; it's the connection and the moving in the music with your partner. With their warm, enthusiastic, dynamic and playful approach you learn to feel the music and to translate and express this into smooth, relaxed and passionate movements. They aim to give their students the freedom to move with their partners in the music and express themselves without the limitation of fixed patterns.
