Please join me and the rest of the Chicago tango community at the International
Chicago Tango Festival to be held from August 24-27th.

The festival will be given by the American Tango Institute and it will be
held at the Knickerbocker Hotel, 163 E. Walton, Chicago. This festival
promises to follow in the tradition of the other festivals in Chicago this year
and should not be missed. There will be numerous international tango
performers/instructors at the festival, including Fernanda Ghi and Guillermo
Merlo (Argentina), Andrea Misse and Javier Rodriguez (Argentina), Nancy Louzan
and Damian Esell (Argentina), Lorena Gasse and Ariel Barrionuevo (Argentina),
Paulo Araujo (Brazil), Natalie Brateli and Pino Dangiola (Greece and Sweden),
and Eugenia Parilla (Argentina) and Somer Surgit (Turkey/Chicago). These
instructors will lead students in workshops designed from beginners to
professional level. Six different workshops daily, live music played by
Chicago's own seven-piece tango orchestra, Orquesta Bohemia de Chicago at each
evening's "milonga" and a theatre performance on Saturday, August 26 featuring
the
 Orquesta and the professional dancers.
