Paulo is a poet of the human body sculpting curves and sinuosities using the language of tango. His style is unconventional; his teaching seeks to explore more profound levels of human experience and understanding. People who have watched him work are amazed at how much he is able to accomplish in just an hour. He personally supervises the class, dancing with both male and female students until they are able to reach their personal limits. His goals are fluidity of movement, joy in dance, the comfortable close embrace and working with each student to enable them to find their own true tango. He has taught all over the world, including many trips to Italy, Slovenia, and Israel. He has a studio and weekly milonga in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil in the Botafogo district called Café Xango, Instituto Brasileiro do Tango.
