production of DANCE FURY.... a unique dance show featuring three
virtuoso dance couples performing TANGO, SALSA & WEST COAST SWING, (and
all its variations...!)
followed by a night of social dancing on two floors of the legendary
Bearsville Theater, Saturday, Sept. 2, beginning at 8pm, Labor Day Weekend.

The Peter Buettner Quartet (Buettner-Saxophone, flute; Paul Duffy-piano,
-bass, Carlos Valdez-percussion) - virtuoso improvisers in the Latin and
Jazz traditions, will provide musical interludes between dance sets.
Dance Fury deftly intertwines the signature movements of three distinct
dance forms, into a single explosion of passion and desire. Lively Salsa
teases and tempts in perfect counterpoint to the sultry romance offered
by West Coast Swing, and framing it all is the ultimate lover's dance,
the Argentine Tango, a richly textured meditation on love and the soul.
