Alicia teaches "milonguero" style tango or "apilado". She is well known for her beautiful and expressive footwork. Presence is her signature in tango, and is the focus of her teaching for both men and women. Alicia emphasizes the partners connection, and in particular the womans ability to not just follow, but to be an equal protagonist in the dance. Men love to dance with her because she adds another level to the expression and connection between the partners that no one else does. She is a very warm and caring person with a great sense of humor who loves to share her knowledge of the subtleties and the essence of the dance of Argentine Tango.
