DETAILED SCHEDULE Saturday, 21 October 2006 (Beginners through Advanced) 11:30 am-noon: Registration & warm-up Noon-1:15 pm: T1: Tango Fundamentals for all. Posture, systems of walks, connection with partner, basic rhythms. Recommended for all. 1:45-3:00 pm: T2: Walking Toward One Another. Forward and back ochos, and additional figures that develop from the ochos. Builds on T1. 3:15-4:30 pm: V1: Vals Cruzado. (Turn & Stop). The all-important Tango Waltz with techniques such as sacada & molinetes. ____________ Sunday, 22 October 2006 (Intermediate through Advanced) 11:30 am-noon: Registration & warm-up Noon-1:15 pm: T3: Sensual Embrace. Techniques for both men and women w/ a focus for slow sensual dancing. 1:45-3:00 pm: T4: Special Men and Women's Techniques. Beautiful and dynamic techniques danced with fluidity to showcase the man and the woman separately. 3:15-4:30 pm: M1: Milonga in 3 Forms. Brief introduction to milonga varieties such as Milonga Lisa, Canyengue & Milonga Traspie. Her BROADWAY debut was at the WALTER KERR AND MARQUIS THEATER. During her association with the company (1995-2005) she created and performed two of the show's classic numbers GALLO CIEGO_ _and DERECHO VIEJO and has performed them in major cities throughout North America, Asia and Europe and for the first and only time on stage at the historical opera house THEATER COLON in BUENOS AIRES, Argentina. Francisco Forquera was born in Mendoza, Argentina . He lived in New York for seven years and appeared inseveral OFF-BROADWAY productions and other theatrical engagements including "TANGO Y TANGO" at NEW YORK\'S LINCOLN CENTER; "Kuarahy" with JULIO BOCA'S BALLET ARGENTINO; and "TANGO FANTASTICO" at the BELLEAYRE MUSIC FESTIVAL in ROCKEFELLER CENTER. Francisco also performed in the film RANDOM HEARTS with Harrison Ford.
