Michael Young & Beatrix Satzinger
Michael Young started his teaching career in 1974. From Ballroom, Latin,
Country, Disco, and finally to Argentine Tango, his thirty years of
experience and his clear explanation of the dance make him a perennial
favorite of his students everywhere. He has trained ballroom students and
teachers across Canada and the United States, both socially and
competitively, and has taught the subtleties of Argentine Tango in Canada
and the US, as well as in Mexico and Buenos Aires.
Beatrix Satzinger has danced since she was a little girl. After a
professional dance career in Germany (Stuttgart Ballet, Frankfurt Opera,
Munich Gaertnerplatztheater) her focus switched to dance-movement therapy in
search of genuine, authentic expression through dancing. Since 1997 she has
embraced dancing the Argentine tango, studying with Eduardo Saucedo, Fabian
Salas, Osvaldo Zotto and Lorena, Julio Balmaceda and Corina de la Rosa,
Pablo Nievas and Valeria Zunina, Aurora Lubiz, Gustavo Naveira and
Giselle-Ann, Daniel Lapadula, Eduardo Aguirre and Yvonne Meissner, Susana
Miller, Cacho Dante, Miguel Pla, Metin Yazir, Florencia Taccetti, Michael
Young, and others.
