milongueros !
This is a rare visit to NY and their first visit to upstate New York.
They will be heading back to Bs As soon after. Don't miss them!
Pedro "Tete" Rusconi is one of the foremost teachers of the close
embrace style of Argentine Tango.
Tete and Silvia Ceriani, both of Buenos Aires, have been dancing and
teaching together since 1995. Highly acclaimed by experienced dancers,
they have toured throughout Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy,
Holland, Spain, Belgium, Sweden and the central United States, offering
group and private classes, exhibitions and performances at prominent
tango festivals. They concentrate on the musical 'compasses' (rhythm,
syncopation), the sensibility of the body, and liberty of movement.
Their tango vals classes are especially renowned. Tete & Silvia are
noted for their individual style of musicality (Silvia DJ's Salon
Canning on Monday nights), and interpretation of the tango from the
'Golden Age' of the 1940's and 1950's.
