Anton Gazenbeek is a recognized tango historian, researcher and author who
has participated in the World Tango Festival, NYC Summer Tango & Film Festival,
performed at Lincoln Center, Harvard University, lectured at Carnegie Mellon
University, Museum of Fine Arts Houston and toured in Japan, Korea, China and
United States. He is the creator of The Anthropology of Tango Dance, a
multimedia educational show. He has released four highly successful tango
teaching DVDs. He is owner of one of the largest and most important historic
tango video collections in the world and is very well known for being one of
the few dancers who recreates old tango styles based on historic investigation.
Anton Gazenbeek will be touring with Quintango Orchestra in the East Coast
with Carina Losano in May and June, will be teaching, performing and lecturing
in the NYC Summer Tango & Film Festival in July, and will be leading the third
Argentine Tango Cultural Tour in USA in July and August.
