Dear Tangueros
For all of you who missed the first Workshop, you can still sign up for this last Workshop this Friday, May 11th. Don't miss it, this is the last one and fundamental knowledge for all dancers. These two Workshops are special designed for dancers, and for all of you who want to learn more about one of the most sophisticated and beloved music of the world. Conducted by Tango Pianist Octavio Brunetti, (see Bio below) one of the most sought after Tango Pianists in the US, who won the international Tango competition in New York City and has played with various Tango Orchestras in Argentina, Europe and New York for over 15 years, will share all his knowledge of Tango Music, and together with Tango Instructor Annatina, will take the theory to the practice. Octavio and Annatina have not only experience as performers, but also as teachers, and the clear structured workshops are special designed to improve everyone's musicality. You will learn to use the music in your favor, improve rhythm and dynamics, and also learn to interpret the styles of the different orchestras. Only a solid knowledge about the music will allow you to have the freedom to interpret it and make it your friend, so you will be able to add your own style to your dancing. In this workshop we will focus on two different orchestras, Hector Varela & Osvaldo Pugliese, two remarkable and most contrasting orchestras of the 40's and 50's. Live examples on the Piano, special developed, playful exercises and more tricks and insights will make this workshop a fun and meaningful experience for all levels. click here for more info <http://annatango.com/images/Workshop.jpg> Friday May 11th (Varela, Pugliese) 7.30 - 9.00 pm 1 Workshop 30.-/ Sign up in adv. 25.- @ Champions Studio 257 West, 39 street, 14th floor btw. 7 & 8 ave. to inscribe call or write to: 646 326 3998 [email protected] Octavio Brunetti, (Pianist & Arranger) born in Rosario, Argentina, has started playing Piano as a very young child.
