Tango Workshops in Bethesda, MD, with Maximiliano Gluzman
Saturday-Sunday, June 2-3, 2007

Maxi is a young milonguero from Buenos Aires, the city where he lives and
dances. He shares a passion for social dancing and has decided to continue the
tradition of the great porteño milongueros. The tango he transmits is based on
clear communication between dancers in a continuously close embrace, musical
interpretation and respectful navigation of the dance floor. In his lessons, he
emphasizes posture, leading and following, and musicality as a source of
creativity. He also focuses on improvisation as a key to develop a dance that
is fun and enjoyable for the couple as they comfortably move in a limited space.

So far in 2007, Maxi gave workshops with Milva and performed at the Chicago
Mini Tango Festival (April), and Ann Arbor May Madness Tango Festival. On his
way to Capri Island World Tango Festival (June) and Zurich Tangowoche (August)
he will stop in Washington DC to give a weekend of workshops. We are delighted
to welcome him for the first time in Washington D.C. this June.
Classes will be held at Dansez! Dansez! Studio in Bethesda.
