He first discovered Gay Tango in Buenos Aires about four years ago. This trip inspired his short film Milonga Gay, which was recently accepted to the 2007 Frameline Film Festival. Paul has taught Gay Tango classes and workshops in New York and Berlin. Paul believes it is important to learn both leader and follower roles, and likes to blend traditional and nuevo techniques. He focuses on musicality, improvisation, and being connected and inspired by one’s partner. Paul’s goal is to expand the borders of Tango without losing sight of tradition.
