This Sunday, July 22 celebrating tango and the very end of the 7th New York City Tango and Film Festival, after Sunday¹s Soiree at Il Campanello, it¹s up to ESMERALDA¹S to see one of the most beautiful films ever made on the tango: ³TANGO: LA OBSESION² For those interested: afterwards take part in a short discussion with ALICIA CRUZADO and other knowledgeable tangueros/as---the film is dense with ideas, information, and images inviting discussion. Or if you prefer, Dance from 7:30 on---- We¹ll dance til 12:30 or later --when everyone leaves, then the tango stops! YESIM retuns to D.J!! JEAN teaches the pre-intermediate class 6:30 And I teach the beginners also 6:30.
