Visiting instructors from Buenos Aires - Ernesto Balmaceda & Stella Baez - will teach a pre-milonga all levels class: "Navigating elegantly while walking with music"; the class begins at 7:30 p and has a separate $20 cost. There will be no 'free' class on July 27th. Ernesto & Stella, who have stayed in Chicago after last weekend's International Chicago Tango Fest, also will showcase around 11:30 p (and may be joined by other performing instructors). They are teaching classes on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 1 & 2, at American Tango Institute (312-771-1226 for more information). milonga Nuestro Tango, Inc. is danced the LAST Friday of EVERY month at The Latvian Community Center (4146 N. Elston Ave., Chicago) from 9:00 p to 1:00+ a. The hostesses - Valentina Cisar, Carmen Pinto &/or Phoebe J. Grant - provide a light buffet but BYOB; the cover for the milonga is $15.
