Paul & Michiko are pleased to announce that Gustavo Naveira and Giselle
Anne, as part of their London visit, will be coming to perform for us at
The Crypt on Saturday, 22nd December.... a fantastic Christmas present
for all the London tangueros and regular Crypters...!!
Gustavo and Giselle Anne were eloquently described by Carolina of Zero
Hour as follows:
"Gustavo and Giselle represent one of the very great expressive tango
dancers. Teaching for many years in Argentina and in Europe , they are
an obliged reference for their dancing style and their teaching
technique although keeping it closed to tradition. Naveira (also
well-known for his participation in the film "The Tango Lesson" from
Sally Potter) is universally known for his prodigious technique and
original style. Giselle Ann e for her virtuous and beautiful dancing
that has brought her as choreographer and dancer to famous shows. But
their most important characteristic is their capacity of transmitting
the sense of harmony, intensity and passion with their dance."
All we need to add is that their forthcoming visit is an opportunity to
meet and see perhaps the foremost couple in the world of tango in these
current times. Certainly, they are considered to be the foremost
innovators of tango in this era... their dancing is exquisite both in
terms of movement and musicality.
Besides their performance at The Crypt on Saturday, 22nd December,
Gustavo and Giselle Anne will be doing a special seminar from 20th
23rd December. More information about the visit to The Crypt can be

Centre. Gustavo and Giselle Anne will also be performing at the Welsh
Centre on Friday 21st December and at the Dome (www.zerohouruk.blueyonder.com) on Wednesday, 19th
December. The dances that they will be performing will be specially
chosen for each venue.
We shall be proud to end the year at The Crypt on such a high note and
hope that you will join us in a night of festive atmosphere and the
